Former New York Representative Anthony Weiner found a way to use social networking as a political tool. Granted it was the wrong way to go about it but it was still a way to make his last name a household...word.

In all seriousness, politicians have embraced digital and social media, but are rarely taking advantage of targeted video.

Wouldn't it be better if a political candidate could use targeted video to get their various messages out to their specific constituencies? Not just blanketing the general area with generic messages but delivering targeted messages to their core constituents without wasting money outside their districts. Sure, a mayoral candidate can run general ads in their entire city but imagine if a political campaign could geo-target tailored digital on-line video ads.

Well, why can't they? With Liquidus Bannerlink they can.

A political Bannerlink could of course feature text and multiple videos on a national level, e.g. for a presidential run or perhaps a senatorial candidate that needs regional reach. That's easy. But what if the candidate is hyper-local like an alderman or town council district candidate? People outside of their core area won't need to see that digital ad if they can't specifically vote for that candidate. With better geo-targeting technology (sniffing the users IP address) we can serve them a candidate's Bannerlink ad (featuring several customized videos) that are most relevant to the target audience on a given website in a given geography. Or, a political party could run Bannerlink ads with videos of all the party's candidates that are up for election in a given zip code.

Having geo-specific political ads allows the candidate to target their core constituents. It will reach the most relevant audience and allows the party to focus their ad dollars where they need to be, e.g.. the voters.
