Online Video

Online video will account for 6.9% of all online ads this year, according to emarketer.com. While that is still a relatively small percentage compared to traditional print and television advertising, it is certainly gaining a foothold. In 2010 online video advertising accounted for 5.5%.

Online advertising is looking more and more valuable to advertisers as DVRs and streaming TV services reduce the number of ads people actually watch. A television viewer can easily skip a commercial but on-line advertising is ever-present when consumers are surfing the web or visiting a site. In addition, online video is a more active advertising solution as users opt-in to view the ad. These result in higher sales which are why experts are predicting online video advertising ad spending will more than double in the next 3 years.

Liquidus’ online video also offers geo-targeting, pre- and post-rolls, overlays, lead generation, sponsorships, and dynamic text features, much of which is absent in traditional television video advertising.
