Ikea wanted to drive traffic and build awareness for their Black Friday offers by extending their content into new channels for a broader reach.

Solution

After on-boarding content from Ikea’s weekly ad, Liquidus powered a dynamic rich media campaign. The unit featured animations with Black Friday messaging, as well as rollovers which activated a dynamically-populated content carousel. Users were given the option to view “Most Popular” and “Top Deals,” as well as the ability to click through to Ikea’s Black Friday weekly ad.

The weekly ad itself used interactive rollovers and local store price and item information to drive shopper engagement and purchase intent. Combining the relevancy of local content available immediately in-store with the ease of digital browsing, this campaign drove actionable shopper behavior and purchase intent for Ikea on Black Friday weekend.
